Below you’ll find links to math games that reinforce math skills. Explore, enjoy and have fun.
Numbers, numbers and more numbers, they just keep getting larger. This year you’ll work on memorizing your addition and subtraction fact. You’ll also learn how to add and subtract large numbers. You'll spend lots and lots of time working with place value. You'll learn how to add and subtract with regrouping. It's a real brain stretcher but you can do it.
Now that you can see and create patterns, you’ll work more with number patterns. You’ll also learn how to find the missing number. And you’ll get to make or find the math rules.
Data and Graphing
Now is it time to learn about data, charts and graphs. You've seen all this since kindergarten. Now we'll make it more of a brain stretch as we learn about the differences in each. Jump on on and have some fun.
Fractions
Now it is time to learn more about equal parts and fair shares. We'll move on to more brain stretching activities with fractions. Put on your thinking caps and get ready to soar.
If you love playing with shape, building with blocks or solving puzzles then geometry may be your thing. Geometry is all about shapes and the space they take up. Come on and explore the different games.
This section is all about exploring different math concept. Various virtual manipulatives along with activities for exploration will be part of this section. Currently the focus is on using Cuisenaire rods. Additional activities with virtual manipulatives will be posted along the way.
