Below you'll find links to activities to math areas. Explore each area and discover more about math.

Math Facts

Think fast, what's 7+ 8, or 18 - 6? How fast can you find the answer to 8 x 8 or 7 x 6? What about 45/9? (That's a division problem incase you don't recognize the math sign.) The math facts section is designed to help you be a whiz at all your math facts, no thinking needed, just an automatic response. Sounds pretty cool doesn't it?

As you work through the games in this section you'll master the skill to automatically know your math facts. Jump in. Have fun. Pay attention and think as you memorize your math facts.

Algebra

X, Y, Z can you find me? Algebra is like a game of hide-and-seek. You look for patterns. You use tables, graphs and input output charts to record your information. These all help you find the pattersn. Finally you take these skills to help you find x, y or z in a math equation. Does that sound awful? It shouldn't you've been doing this since 1st grade. The only difference is now your math problem looks like this 7 + x = 15 instead of 7 + __ = 15. Are you breathing easier now? You'll find this section challenging but fun. Take a deep breath and dive in for an wonderful adventure.

Estimation

Quick! How many eggs are in the picture to the left? Can you make a good guess without counting? You have 5 seconds to give an answer. If you can do this you are on your way to being a good estimator.

The games is this section are carefully chosen to improve estimation skills in many areas. Practice regularly to become a great estimator. When you are through you should be able to name different ways to estimate.

Geometry

Did you know that without geometry your whole world would come crashing down? You’ve learned that geometry is all about shapes. Now it is time to take a deeper look into geometry so your world won’t come crashing down. You’ll explore area, perimeter, angles and more. You might even discover a few uses of geometry in our world. Hopefully, you’ll see why geometry is the glue that holds our world together.

Economics

Who wants to be a millionaire or a billionaire? Study economics and you'll be on your way to reaching that goal. Simply stated economics is the math you need to make money from the goods you sale and services you provide. You'll learn to look at what you spend vs. how much you take in. Understanding where your money is going and how it is being used is challanging. Yet the effort is well worth it. Get read for interesting and challenging activities.
