Shapes in Our World Webquest
This webquest is designed for 4th and 5th graders. There mission is to teach kindergarteners about 2-D and 3-D shapes. The final project for this webquest is an animated, narrated PowerPoint teaching kindergarteners about shapes.
Where in the Elections Is Math?
It's that year again, when our country picks a new president. Even before the election pollsters, new commentaries and even the Weekly Reader is trying to predict the next president. This year you get to join the ranks as you use data to try and predict the next president of the United States.

This webquest will allow you to explore estimation. You will also get to practice collaborative learning. When you've finished this 4 day webquest you should have a greater view of what estimation is. You should also be able to see how collaborative learning helps each of us to grow and learn.
